I wrote Come Away, Death in 2018 for the Syosset High School production of Twelfth Night, in which I composed and arranged the score, music directed and played Feste! The original version I performed and wrote was for mandolin (and sometimes I used my guitar), but this piano/vocal version of the song is my favorite way to showcase it. This song is simplistic in character, but it– as well as all the music I've written for Shakespeare plays –  has a special place in my heart because it was the first of my Shakespeare song I wrote that I was truly proud of.
